ACLU of Indiana's First Wednesday to discuss homelessness

The American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana will tackle the issue of homelessness at its First Wednesday discussion Feb. 1.

Panelists for “The Homeless: Hide them or help them?” are Sally Bindley, CEO and founder of School on Wheels; Ken Falk, legal director of the ACLU of Indiana; Michael Hurst, program director for the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention of Greater Indianapolis; and Rebecca Townsend, news editor of NUVO News. Russ McQuaid with WXIN Fox 59 will moderate.

The event is part of the organization’s brown-bag lunch discussion series. The discussion is from noon to 12:50 p.m. in the WFYI Community Room, 1630 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis.

The discussion is free and open to the public.
