The Indiana Court of Appeals has schedule oral arguments in the case of the former Indiana State Police trooper accused of killing his wife and children in 2000.

Arguments in David Camm v. State of Indiana, No. 87A01-1102-CR-25, will be held at 11 a.m. EDT Oct. 4 at the Shircliff Theatre at Vincennes University. The judges accepted the interlocutory appeal in March on whether Floyd County Prosecutor Keith Henderson should be able to continue prosecuting the case. Henderson had signed a book deal regarding the case, but cancelled it after the Indiana Supreme Court ordered a new trial in June 2009.

This will be the third trial for David Camm on charges that he killed his wife and children, ages 5 and 7. He was convicted in Floyd Circuit Court in 2002, but the COA overturned it in 2004. On retrial in Warrick County, he was convicted and sentenced to life in prison without parole, which the high court overturned two years ago. The third trial will also be held in Warrick County with Spencer Circuit Judge Jon Dartt presiding as special judge.
