Federalist Society to host Notre Dame associate dean

The Federalist Society, Indianapolis Lawyers Division Chapter, will host Richard W. Garnett, associate dean and professor of law at Notre Dame Law School, for a lecture at noon June 9.

The cost to attend Garnett’s lecture, “School Choice, Religious Freedom, and the Constitution(s),” is $20 for Federalist Society members, students, and government employees. Admission is $25 for all others, and cash or checks will be accepted at the door. One hour of CLE is available pending approval. The event will be at the Conrad Indianapolis, Hong Kong Room, 50 W. Washington St.

Garnett is also a professor of political science at Notre Dame. He has taught courses on constitutional criminal procedure, the First Amendment, and the death penalty. He was a visiting lecturer at Radzyner School of Law – IDC Herzliya, in Herzliya, Israel, where he taught the course, “Religious Freedom in the United States of America.”
