Online court employee training begins Aug. 18

  • Print

In an effort to give a general introduction of the judicial system to new trial court employees, a new online training program has been created and is now open for enrollment. The program is the result of input from members of the judicial branch and is part of the long-term plan outlined in the judicial branch strategic plan, A New Way Forward,  to enhance education requirements for court staff.

The online course can accommodate 200 participants at one time. Each employee has six weeks to complete the program and can access the material any time over the Internet. The lessons include videos, PowerPoint presentations, and quizzes. Judges and supervisors who would like to enroll court staff have until Aug. 12 or whenever 200 spots are filled.

The first class begins Aug. 18. To register, contact Judge Barbara Arnold Harcourt at the Indiana Judicial Center at [email protected].
