Appellate court to visit southern Indiana Oct. 4

Two panels from the Indiana Court of Appeals will hear arguments at universities in southern Indiana next week.

Judges John Baker, Edward Najam Jr. and L. Mark Bailey will travel to Vincennes University Oct. 4 to hear arguments in the interlocutory appeal of David Camm v. State of Indiana, No. 87A01-1102-CR-25. Camm is appealing the denial of his petition for a special prosecutor. Arguments begin at 11 a.m. in the Shircliff Auditorium.

At 3 p.m. CDT, Judges Patricia Riley, Melissa May and Elaine Brown will hear arguments in the Schroeder Family School of Business Administrative Building at the University of Evansville in Brett Head-Mattingly v. State of Indiana, No. 82A05-1103-CR-127. Head-Mattingly appeals his convictions of burglary and theft related to acts committed at one home and attempted burglary for acts committed at a different home the following day.
