Valparaiso Law School hosts immigration conference

Valparaiso University School of Law will host a conference on children and immigration from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 10 at Wesemann Hall.

The focus of the conference will be immigrant children – particularly those who are undocumented – and associated issues like asylum and exclusion from higher education.

The cost to attend is $100 for attorneys and $50 for government or non-profit employees. Valparaiso faculty, staff and students may attend free of charge. Six hours of continuing legal education may be available, pending approval.

The deadline to register is Feb. 7, and registration is available online.
