The Lake County-based Women Lawyers Association will pay tribute to Indiana Justice Loretta Rush, the state’s second female justice, during a reception next month.

Women Lawyers Association President Melissa Cohen said Court of Appeals Chief Judge Margret Robb and appellate judges Nancy Vaidik and Patricia Riley also will be recognized. Cohen said several justices and judges of the Court of Appeals will attend.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. CDT Wednesday, May 8 at the Radisson Hotel, Celebrity West Ballroom in Merrillville. Registration is $36 and includes an hors d’oeuvres reception. A cash bar will be available.
