The St. Thomas More Society of Indianapolis will honor Marion Superior Probate Judge Gerald Zore with its Man for All Seasons award following its annual Red Mass on Oct. 9.

Indianapolis Archbishop Joseph W. Tobin will celebrate Mass at 5:30 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 126 W. Georgia St., Indianapolis. Preceding Mass will be a presentation of clergy and the judiciary, and a reception and dinner will follow at 7:15 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza, 123 W. Louisiana St. Zore will be honored at the reception.

A tradition tracing its roots back more than 700 years to 13th century France and 14th Century England, Red Masses in the United States traditionally coincide with the opening of the United States Supreme Court’s term beginning in October. The court’s term begins this year on Oct. 7.

Cost of the dinner is $50 per person. More information is available at www.stmsindy.org/redmass.html.
