Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard, Marion Superior Court Judge David Certo and Marion County Sheriff John Layton have recently announced plans for a new criminal justice complex to replace the existing facilities. This new complex will house separate adult and juvenile detention, inmate processing, the prosecutor, public defender, probation and community corrections, clerk and other state and federal agencies.

The IndyBar will host a Town Hall meeting addressing the city’s plans on Monday, Jan. 27 from noon to 1 p.m. at the IndyBar Education Center. This event will serve as an opportunity for information sharing from the City of Indianapolis as well as a forum for IndyBar members to provide input about the new Consolidated Criminal Justice Complex.

Registration will begin at noon, and the program will start no later than 12:15. This event is free, and no pre-registration is required.
