An Indiana county attorney's office and a community advocacy group have partnered in an effort to help victims of domestic violence.

The Office of the Elkhart County Prosecuting Attorney and the YWCA North Central Indiana will offer a support group to Hispanic victims of domestic violence in Elkhart County. The group will be facilitated by the attorney's office and will feature a bilingual counselor from the YWCA.

The office's Victim Assistance Division will also offer a number of related services, including facilitating protective orders, safety planning and working with victims as they navigate the legal system.
