Indiana Lawyer reporter Rebecca Berfanger is in Washington, D.C., for the inauguration of President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. She shared a few tidbits with me via text message today. Because of the number of people in attendance and the strain on the cell phone towers, text message was the best way to keep in touch.

Berfanger attended the Indiana Inaugural Ball Monday night and saw attorney and Democratic candidate for Attorney General Linda Pence, Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi, Indiana University Maurer School of Law – Bloomington Dean Lauren Robel, and other attorneys.

She said the energy and atmosphere has been crazy but amazing, and most people in D.C. are happy to be there and are in very good spirits.
