Two nationally known activists will speak at the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence's 26th annual fall conference
Oct. 21-22 in Indianapolis.
The keynote speakers are Jackson Katz, Ed. M., an activist, educator, and author recognized for his work in gender violence
prevention education with men and boys; and Susan Still, a survivor and activist whose husband was sentenced to 36 years in
prison after abusing Still for more than 24 years.
A silent auction will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 21, and an awards luncheon will be from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 22; both
will be in Liberty Hall at the Indianapolis Marriott East, 7202 E. 21st St., Indianapolis.
Continuing legal education credit is available for attorneys who attend. Nominations are being accepted through Sept. 30
for the Outstanding Service Awards. Early bird registration deadline is Sept. 30, regular registration deadline is Oct. 17.
