A professor from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis will discuss his research and study of the state's photo ID requirement on the rejection rate of voters at a free event this month.

Professor Michael J. Pitts will lead the discussion, "Assessing the Impact of Photo Identification at the Polls by Examining the Provisional Ballots," at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 28 at Cafe Inquiry in the Center for Inquiry Indianapolis on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, 350 Canal Walk, Suite A.

Cafe Inquiry is a series of discussions about leading edge and sometimes controversial topics, ideas, and methods in science, and their implications for society. Snacks and refreshments will be available for a donation, and guests are invited to bring their own food. Parking is available for free after 6 p.m. on New York Street and Senate Avenue.
