Lecture to cover religion, Constitution

Columbia University Law School professor Kent Greenawalt will speak about church and state at a public lecture Thursday that precedes an academic conference of law and religion scholars at the University of Notre Dame Law School.

Greenawalt will discuss his new book, "Religion and the Constitution: Establishment and Fairness," and will focus his lecture on the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. The public lecture begins at 4 p.m. in the Eck Visitor's Center Auditorium. For more information, visit the Notre Dame Law School's Web site.
