Evansville native Christine H. Keck has been appointed to represent the first district on the Indiana Commission on Judicial Qualifications, the Indiana Supreme Court announced today.

Keck is the director of Strategy and Business Development for Renewable Energy at Energy Systems Group in Newburgh. Keck is one of three lay citizens appointed by the governor to make up the commission, which is chaired by Indiana Supreme Court Justice Randall T. Shepard. Three attorneys are elected to serve by other lawyers. Keck, who replaced Joan M. Hurley of Sellersburg, began her term in November 2008.
