Pyle leaving Circuit Court Aug. 26

Madison Circuit Judge Rudolph Pyle III has told the Indiana Supreme Court he will resign from Circuit Court Aug. 26 to take his spot on the Indiana Court of Appeals. Gov. Mitch Daniels appointed Pyle an appellate judge Aug. 7.

The Supreme Court appointed Joseph R. Kilmer as judge pro tempore in Madison Circuit Court, effective Aug. 27. He will serve in that role until Daniels appoints a successor or until further order from the Supreme Court.
