Indiana Supreme Court Justice Frank Sullivan Jr. will be honored with an American Bar Association Section of Litigation's
2010 Diversity Leadership Award next month. The award honors those who have demonstrated a commitment to promoting diversity
in the legal profession.

Justice Sullivan won the award for his conviction and passion to make a difference in improving opportunities for minorities
in the judicial system. Through his efforts, Indiana courts have made great strides in assuring the justice system reflects
the people it serves. Justice Sullivan joined the Supreme Court in 1993.

The Diversity Leadership Award was created as a way to recognize people or organizations that have shown a commitment to
promoting full and equal participation in the legal community through proactive encouragement and inclusion of all minorities.
The first award was given in 2009.

Justice Sullivan will receive the award during the section's annual conference April 21 in New York City.
