The Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence is hosting its fifth annual race Aug. 16 to raise money and awareness for the fight against domestic violence.

The Race Away From Domestic Violence includes a 10k run, 5k run, and a 5k walk/wheelchair roll that are open to everyone. Individuals and teams can participate in the races and the ICADV encourages participants to seek pledge money, which will be used to support services for victims of domestic violence.

Registration begins at 7 a.m., followed by opening ceremonies at 7:40 a.m. at the Indiana War Memorial, 431 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis. Registrations received by Aug. 14 are $20; registration is $25 on the day of the race.
