For the sixth year in a row, Marion County Clerk Beth White will perform civil marriage ceremonies on Valentine’s Day to raise money for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign. Couples are asked to donate $50 to the AHA in lieu of an officiant’s fee. Since 2007, the event has raised nearly $9,000 and married 202 couples.
