Berch was appointed to the Arizona Supreme Court in 2002 and became chief justice in 2009. Before she joined the court, she worked as solicitor general of Arizona, special counsel to the attorney general, and as a Court of Appeals judge.
She serves on many boards and legal organizations, including the United States Conference of Chief Justices, the board of trustees of the National Conference of Bar Examiners, and the board of advisors for the Green Bag Almanac and Reader. She’s a strong proponent of pro bono work and encourages all lawyers to perform volunteer work.
The lecture begins at 5 p.m. in the Wynne Courtroom of Inlow Hall, 530 W. New York St., Indianapolis. A reception will immediately follow in the Conour Atrium. One hour of CLE is available. For more information, visit the school’s website.
