Those interested in joining the St. Joseph Superior bench have until Jan. 18 to apply to the court’s nominating commission. The applicant chosen will replace Judge Roland Chamblee Jr., who is retiring in March.

The governor will appoint the judge from a list of up to five nominees submitted by the St. Joseph Superior Court Nominating Commission. Applications must live in St. Joseph County, be a U.S. citizen, and be admitted to the Indiana bar.

Interviews with the nominating commission will be held Jan. 25.

Application forms are available at the clerk’s office of the St. Joseph Circuit and Superior courts and online.
