The Quarles team included $5,100 in donations raised from clients, family and friends of partner Joel Tragesser, who climbed in memory of his wife Kirsten's young daughter, Maddie Graham, who died in 2002 while awaiting a lung transplant.

Organizers said this year’s event was the most successful ever in terms of total raised and overall participation. A total of 1,060 people participated, including 118 climbers representing law firms.
