Israel Munoz v. Jerome Woroszylo
Civil tort. Affirms denial of Munoz’s motion to dismiss Woroszylo’s lawsuit stemming from a car accident filed in Tippecanoe County after the case was dismissed from Illinois federal court for lack of personal jurisdiction. There is no intent that Worosyzlo filed his suit in Illinois with intent to abuse judicial process or create undue delay and his decision to file in Indiana state court is allowed under the Journey’s Account Statute.

Post conviction. Affirms denial of petition for post-conviction relief.

R.S. v. A.S. (mem. dec.)
Domestic relation. Reverses denial of father’s request for modification of child support and the suspension of his parenting time.

Jerrick Matthews v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)
Criminal. Affirms murder conviction.

Titus S. Dunn v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)
Criminal. Affirms conviction of Class D felony residential entry and finding Dunn is a habitual offender.

Myron B. James v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)
Post conviction. Affirms denial of petition seeking post-conviction relief.

Jack Weichman; Medical Management and Data Services, Inc.; and Weichman and Associates, P.C. v. Domenico Lazzaro, M.D.; Joseph Pabon, M.D.; et al. (mem. dec.)
Civil plenary. Affirms in part and reverses in part a lawsuit filed by Drs. Lazzaro and Pabon’s practice against Weichman and other defendants after the practice terminated an agreement with Medical Management and Data Services and switched billing companies. Concludes the trial court erred in denying MMDS’ breach of contract claim against the practice. Affirms in all other respects. Remands with instructions.

Criminal. Affirms aggregate 8 ½ year sentence following guilty plea to numerous criminal offenses including theft, prostitution and conversion.
