DTCI elects new board and officers at annual conference

The Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana named its 2016 officers and directors at its 22nd Conference and Annual Meeting Nov. 19-20. The officers and directors will take office Jan. 1, 2016.

James W. Hehner, a member of Hehner & Associates in Indianapolis, was named the 49th president; Michele S. Bryant with Wooden & McLaughlin in Evansville was named president-elect; Robert B. Thornburg, with Frost Brown Todd in Indianapolis, was tapped to be vice-president; Renee Mortimer, partner in Hinshaw & Culbertson in Schererville, was named secretary of the association; and Donald S. Smith, with Riley Bennett & Egloff in Indianapolis, was chosen as treasurer. Thomas C. Hays of Lewis Wagner in Indianapolis will continue on the board as immediate past-president, and Scott Kyrouac, with Wilkinson Goeller Modesitt Wilkinson & Drummy in Terre Haute, will continue his duties as DRI state representative for Indiana.

New to the board in 2016 will be Matthew King of Frost Brown Todd in Indianapolis and Elliott Pinkie with Schultz & Pogue in Indianapolis. Continuing on the board are: Kori Chambers, Indiana University Health Risk Retention Group in Indianapolis; Marian Drenth with O’Neill McFadden & Willett in Schererville; Gregory Freyberger, Wooden & McLaughlin in Evansville; Curtis Greene with Barnes & Thornburg in Indianapolis; Philip E. Kalamaros with Hunt Suedhoff Kalamaros in South Bend; Christopher D. Lee with the Evansville office of Wooden & McLaughlin; Jason Massaro with The Massaro Legal Group in Fishers; Libby Valos Moss with Kightlinger & Gray in Indianapolis; Jaime Oss with Michigan City firm of Huelat Mack & Kreppein; James Strenski with Cantrell Strenski & Mehringer in Indianapolis; Stacy F. Thompson with Clendening Johnson & Bohrer in Bloomington; Kevin C. Tyra with the Tyra Law Firm in Indianapolis; and Louis Voelker of Eichhorn & Eichhorn in Hammond.•
