IndyBar Board Nominations Due July 1

IndyBar Holiday Closing

The office of the Indianapolis Bar Association and Foundation will be closed on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The office will reopen with normal business hours on Wednesday, July 6.

Honor an Outstanding Colleague

Nominations are now open for the 2017 Antoinette Dakin Leach Award, which is presented to a trailblazing female attorney by the IndyBar Women & the Law Division. The due date for nominations is July 25; the recipient will be honored at an event this fall. Submit your nomination at indybar.org/adl.

Marion County Recorder Announces Fee Changes

The Marion County Recorder’s Office has announced fee changes effective July 1, as well as expected fee changes to take effect August 1, 2017. Information about current and future fees can be found at indy.gov/eGov/County/Recorder/Documents/FeeChange

Attorney Online Record Access at Mycase.In.Gov

Attorney registration for mycase.in.gov is now available. Attorneys who register will have the ability to view public documents on cases available through mycase.in.gov. The attorney sign in is on the upper right corner of mycase.in.gov. Attorneys should sign in using their Courts Portal credentials.

Comments Now Accepted on Proposed Rule Amendments

Pursuant to Ind. Trial Rule 80, the Indiana Supreme Court Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure has posted five proposed amendments for public comment. The proposed amendments affect Trial Rule 69, Tax Court Rule 5, Judicial Conduct Rule 2.11, Trial Rule 4.1 and Trial Rule 4.15. The proposed amendments and instructions for submitting comments can be viewed online at in.gov/judiciary/5065.htm. Comments must be submitted in writing no later than July 17, 2017.
