IndyBar: Campbell to Lead Indianapolis Bar Association in 2020

The Indianapolis Bar Association’s Nominating Committee has announced the selection of Andrew L. Campbell of Faegre Baker Daniels LLP as the 2020 President of the Indianapolis Bar Association. Campbell will serve as the association’s First Vice President on the 2018 Board of Directors and as President-Elect in 2019.

Campbell currently serves on the IndyBar Board of Directors as an At Large Director and led the Indianapolis Bar Foundation as President in 2016. Campbell is a member of the nationally ranked product liability practice group at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP. He earned his B.A. and M.A. from the University of Montana and his J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

Holly Wanzer, Wanzer Edwards PC, was selected to finish out the final year of Campbell’s two-year term as At Large Director. Wanzer is the current President of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation.

Also appointed was David Duncan, Scannell Properties, to a two-year term as Treasurer. Duncan is currently serving as Treasurer, completing a previous one-year vacancy, and also served as Indianapolis Bar Foundation President in 2014.

Four additional At Large Directors were also selected. Chosen to serve through 2019 were Deborah C. Dobbins, The Heritage Group; Lindsay Faulkenberg, Kids’ Voice of Indiana; Detra Mills, The Cellular Connection LLC; and Shaunestte Terrell, Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council.

As determined by previous nomination, the 2018 Board of Directors will be led by President James J. Bell of Paganelli Law Group. Thomas A. Barnard, Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, will be President-Elect.

In addition to selections made by the association’s Nominating Committee, President-Elect Bell has appointed as Vice Presidents Joshua F. Brown, Law Office of Josh F. Brown; Erin Clancy, Kightlinger & Gray LLP; and Eric Engebretson, Whitham Hebenstreit & Zubek LLP. Serving as Counsel to the Board will be Bryan Strawbridge of Frost Brown Todd LLC.

The 2018 Board of Directors will be formally installed at the Indianapolis Bar Association and Foundation Installation Luncheon, to be held in early January 2018.•
