Subscribe NowAn Indianapolis attorney who was convicted of felony drunken driving has been suspended but is permitted to resume practice pending successful completion of two years of probation and monitoring by the Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program.
Breanne Joy Strubinger entered the conditional agreement for discipline that was approved by an order of the Indiana Supreme Court Thursday.
Strubinger was arrested in February 2016 and in May of that year pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment. She was on probation at the time from a prior OWI with endangerment conviction.
Strubinger had been suspended on an interim basis in February of this year, pending resolution of the disciplinary complaint stemming for her conviction. Under the terms of her agreement with the Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission, she is suspended for 180 days, with 90 days actively served and the remaining days stayed subject to successful completion of at least 24 months of probation with JLAP monitoring.
