The life and career of the late Senior Judge Larry McKinney will be celebrated by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana at a special memorial ceremony planned for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Birch Bayh Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in Indianapolis.

McKinney, who was confirmed to the federal bench in 1987, died unexpectedly Sept. 20.
 
Those wishing to pay tribute are invited to view a live video feed of the ceremony, which will be shown in the Sarah Evans Barker Courtroom, Room 216. No RSVP is required.
