A Warrick Superior Court judge has been temporarily transferred to the county’s circuit court while the sitting circuit judge is unavailable to perform his duties.

In an order dated Dec. 19, the Indiana Supreme Court announced Warrick Superior Judge Robert R. Aylsworth will be temporarily transferred to the circuit court, effective Jan. 1. The transfer comes after current Warrick Circuit Judge Greg A. Granger informed the Supreme Court he would be temporarily unavailable to perform his duties at different times throughout 2018.

Aylsworth will remain in the circuit court until further order of the high court and will retain his jurisdiction over Superior Court 2 during the transfer.
