Corey Bullock v. State of Indiana

Criminal. Affirms Corey Bullock’s 50-year sentence for conviction of Level 1 felony murder and Level 6 felony neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury. Finds the Marion Superior Court did not enter judgment of conviction after Bullock’s first trial. Finds retrial is not barred if judgment of conviction is erroneously entered on the chronological case summary but then quickly vacated.

Domestic Relation. Reverses the trial court’s denial of Jill McKibben’s request for post-judgment interest on child support arrearage. Remands with instructions that the trial court include interest at the statutory rate of 8 percent on the balance due.

David Johnson v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)

Criminal. Affirms the Marion Superior Court’s revocation of David Johnson’s probation for conviction of Class B felony aggravated battery. Finds Johnson did not preserve his evidentiary challenges for review.
