A memorial gathering for Michael Fuess Secord Patrick will take place Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park North. A memorial service will follow.

All attorneys, friends and family are welcome to attend to pay their final respects to Patrick, who died Dec. 16 in a car crash near Zionsville.

In lieu of flowers, family members request donations be made to a fund that will ultimately become a scholarship in Patrick’s memory at his alma mater, Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

Patrick, 46, owned his own practice, focusing on intellectual property and family law. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1994, worked for several years in Japan and eventually returned to Indianapolis, where he earned his law degree from IU McKinney in 2010. His obituary can be viewed here.
