State police have identified a woman in custody at a western Indiana jail who died after a medical emergency.

Police on Monday said an autopsy identified the woman as 46-year-old Jamie A. Wilson of Shelburn.

She died Saturday night after being taken to Sullivan County Community Hospital from the Sullivan County Jail. Sullivan city police had arrested her that morning on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

State police say the cause and manner of Wilson's death is pending toxicology results. They say there was no indication that the woman had harmed herself at the jail.
