The Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission has certified a new senior judge to serve in Indiana’s trial courts.

Chief Justice Loretta Rush, acting as chair of the Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission, approved Donald E. Currie as a senior judge in a Friday order.  

Currie, a former judge of the Carroll Circuit Court, was found to be qualified to serve as a senior judge pursuant to Indiana Code section 33-23-3-2. His senior judgeship became effective with Friday’s order.
