An attorney who pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death as a Class C felony has been sentenced to two years in the Indiana Department of Correction.

Terry J. Record received a four-year sentence Tuesday in Marion Superior Court for driving drunk and causing an accident in which the other driver died, with two years suspended. Record had just left an Indianapolis strip club before the accident.

Record, who worked previously for the Marion County Prosecutor's Office and then the Indiana State Department of Health prior to his arrest, also received four years probation, with 26 days credit. A disciplinary action against Record is pending according to the Indiana Roll of Attorneys.
