The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana has amended its local rules. The amendments, which take effect Oct. 27, include new rules and changes to existing rules.

New rules include B-4003-3, Stripping Mortgages in Chapter 13 Cases; B-6004-2, Private Sale; and B-9006-2, Presumptive Objection Period in Chapter 11 Cases. Significant changes have been made to B-9019-2, Alternative Dispute Resolution.

The order outlining the changes is available on the court’s website.

Notice of the proposed amendments was given to the bar and public Aug. 26. The court accepted comments for a month and made some minor, clarifying edits. New forms, as referenced in the revisions, will be posted to the court’s website by Oct. 27.
