Course Description
Presenter Annie Anderson is a staff attorney with the Clinic’s Survivor Justice Program (SJP). One of the most common case types she handles within SJP is the U Visa, an immigration benefit available to victims of domestic violence, felonious assault, and other types of violent crime. This session will cover U Visa eligibility (including the required helpfulness to law enforcement), U Visa benefits, and the overall application process.
