An attorney and spokesman for the Marion County Prosecutor's Office was arrested March 27 for drunk driving.

A Fishers Police Department officer arrested Marietto "Mario" Massillamany, 32, for speeding and driving in the wrong lane in Hamilton County early Saturday morning. The probable cause affidavit says Massillamany was going 71 mph on a road with a 40 mph speed limit and made a left turn and drove in the oncoming traffic lane for nearly 100 feet.

Massillamany refused to submit to a chemical test, so the officer got search warrant for a blood draw. The officer reported Massillamany had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and was unsteady. He failed several sobriety field tests.

The Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office said they are still collecting documentation from the arrest and will decide whether to file charges after they have all the paperwork. A request seeking comment from the Marion County Prosecutor's office hadn't been returned by IL deadline.

Massillamany is currently the spokesman for Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi and was admitted to practice in Indiana in 2004.
