Your Indianapolis Bar Foundation is seeking energetic leaders interested in helping to guide this dynamic fundraising board in 2011. The charitable arm of the Indianapolis Bar, the IBF raises on average $300,000 annually and distributes more than 75% of the money raised each year to support local law-related efforts.

Volunteering with the Foundation has a much greater emphasis on fundraising than policy-making. No previous Bar experience is required, simply a desire to serve. Committee members are needed to assist in the planning and execution of events and other activities geared toward increasing the visibility of the organization.

Nominations for board members are also being sought. The time required of a Board Member to attend planning sessions and related events is typically five (5) hours or less a month. Please take the time to consider nominating a colleague or yourself for these worthwhile roles in our legal community. Deadline for response is August 30.

Please submit letters of interest by e-mail to [email protected] or mail to 135 N. Pennsylvania Street, Suite 1500 Indianapolis, IN 46204. Questions should be directed to IBF Nominating Committee Chair Phil Genetos at [email protected] or to IBF Executive Director Julie Armstrong at [email protected] or call 317.29.2000.•
