Denise K. LaRue became the newest United States magistrate judge in the Southern District of Indiana Tuesday. Chief Judge Richard L. Young administered the oath at the Birch Bayh Federal Building and United States Courthouse in Indianapolis. Magistrate LaRue fills a new magistrate judgeship created for the Southern District by the Judicial Conference of the United States. A formal investiture ceremony will be held at a later date.
