Bergallo is interested in feminist critiques of the law and in socio-legal theory and research in constitutional and human rights issues. She has published several articles, mainly on topics related to gender and women’s human rights, remedies and public law litigation, and she has presented papers at conferences in the Americas and Europe.

Bergallo holds an LL.B. with honors from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and a Master of Laws from Columbia University. She completed a Master of the Science of Law at Stanford University, where she is a J.S.D. candidate.
