The Indiana Supreme Court denied transfer to two cases for the week ending June 15.

The justices declined to accept Corey Fletcher v. State of Indiana, No. 959 N.E.2d 922, in which a man argued his case should be discharged because he was denied his right to a speedy trial. Indiana’s newest justice, Mark Massa, dissented to the denial of transfer and issued a separate opinion.

The court also denied Huntington Copper, LLC v. Conner Sawmill, Inc., No. 09A02-1110-PL-917, a contract dispute case involving the forum selection clause.
