The Legislative Council has selected George Angelone to serve as executive director of the Legislative Services Agency. Angelone takes over for Jack Ross, who will retire at the end of next month.

Angelone has worked for LSA for 22 years, most recently as deputy director in the Office of Bill Drafting and Research. He received his law degree and masters in business administration from Indiana University, and he is also a certified public accountant.

Diane Powers has been appointed deputy executive director. She currently is the director in the Office of Fiscal and Management Analysis and been with the agency for 12 years.

Both positions take effect Nov. 7.
