Indiana attorneys are being offered the opportunity to show off their judicial skills.

The Indiana Bar Foundation is seeking lawyers to volunteer as judges during the 2015 Indiana High School Mock Trial Competition.

Volunteers are needed for the preliminary rounds and the state competition as high school students present evidence, witnesses and make arguments in a mock wrongful death claim. The two kinds of judges needed are presiding judge, who oversees all procedures during the trial and scoring judge who evaluates the students’ performances.

Preliminary rounds are scheduled for Feb. 14 in Indianapolis and Hammond and Feb. 21 in Mishawaka. The state competition will be March 7 and 8 in Indianapolis.
