Visitors to the Indiana Law Blog are being met with a brief message that the site has ceased operations.

“Sorry, the Indiana Law Blog has gone dark effective late Friday, April 28, 2017, due to funding issues. Thanks for the visit,” a message on the site says. No other content is posted on the site’s homepage, and archived content appears to be inaccessible. However, the ILB’s Twitter account remained active, with several tweets published in the days after the plug was pulled on the blog.

This is the second time the ILB has suspended operations in a little more than a year. It also suspended operations briefly in early 2016 before finding a short-term sponsor.

In recent weeks, publisher and environmental attorney Marcia Oddi had solicited for sponsorships on the site, warning the 14-year-old blog would cease publishing without a means of funding. Oddi did not immediately reply to an email seeking comment Monday.
