The United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana is seeking comments from bar members and the public as to whether Magistrate Judge Tim A. Baker should be reappointed to a new eight-year term. Magistrate Baker's term is set to expire Sept. 30.

The U.S. District Court is legally required to establish a panel of citizens to consider the magistrate's reappointment. Comments regarding Magistrate Baker's reappointment should be directed to Clerk Laura A. Briggs, Attn: Reappointment Panel, United States District Court, 46 E. Ohio St., Room 105, Indianapolis, IN 46204. All comments are due by Feb. 6.
