The Indiana Supreme Court published an order April 26 on the fees the state’s
appellate courts clerk can charge for miscellaneous services. The charges include fees for copy and fax pages, replacement
of an attorney card, and CDs containing documents. The charges are effective immediately.
The updated order is a result of a new deal with the Clerk’s Office’s credit card service provider. Under the
new deal, a flat fee will be charged for using a credit card to pay for services. The Clerk’s Office will also no longer
take VISA, according to clerk Kevin Smith. None of the substantive fees were changed from the December 2005 order.
