Christ is my Big C, a charitable foundation started by attorney Stephenie Jocham to help cancer patients, is seeking sponsorships, foursomes, and silent auction items for an Oct. 17 golf tournament.

Jocham was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in January 2010 and died in June 2011. She created Christ is my Big C to help those dealing with cancer not have to worry about where to go for financial help. The money raised by the foundation is distributed to local churches, which distribute the money to cancer patients in their community through their benevolence funds.

The golf tournament will be held at The Hawthorns Golf and Country Club in Fishers. Registration for teams of four is $600 and includes a cart, range balls, golf shirt, mini-cooler with lunch, beverages, dinner, and attendance at the silent auction. Prizes will also be awarded at the event.

Visit http://christismybigc.org for information, or contact Angela Green at [email protected]. Registration is due Oct. 1.•
