Briana Clark, an attorney with Bingham Greenebaum Doll, is one of seven women chosen to race for the Nature Valley Grand Prix amateur cycling team.

In the Nature Valley Pro Chase, male and female amateur cyclists race against the pros. Amateur cyclists are chosen based on their performance in six competitions around the country. Clark placed high at the Memorial Day Omnium races in the Quad Cities of Iowa and Illinois and will join cyclists from other states at the grand prix, June 13-17, in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Clark, who concentrates her practice in the area of business litigation, was a 2004 inductee to the Little 500 Hall of Fame for her accomplishments as a cyclist in that annual race held at Indiana University. And while a student at IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law, she won two national track titles.

She’s also involved with the Central Indiana Bicycle Association and Racing for Riley Elite Cycling Team.

“I’m excited to be part of a team with clear direction, and meet the team and work hard together,” Clark said.

Now in its 14th year, the Nature Valley Bicycle Festival is a 10-day celebration of bicycling that includes amateur and professional racing and community events. The Nature Valley Grand Prix has become the premier professional bike race in the United States, attracting top American racing teams and nearly 300 riders from around the world. Several of the riders are expected to compete in the Olympics later this summer in London. Races are free and open to the public. Proceeds from the Nature Valley Grand Prix are donated to Children’s Lighthouse of Minnesota, a pediatric hospice project.
