IU McKinney student spins ‘The Wheel’

Russell Hollis, a third-year evening student at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, has spun the giant wheel and put his knack for solving puzzles to work on the game show Wheel of Fortune.

He successfully auditioned for the television show earlier this year and, in September, he and his wife Jennifer flew to Los Angeles for the taping. The segment with him is scheduled to be aired Nov. 23.

Hollis had a great experience and enjoyed meeting the show’s hosts, Pat Sajak and Vanna White. Because the show has not aired, he could not divulge how he did but he hinted that he did not return home empty handed.•
