Beginning Monday, all new civil cases filed by counsel will be filed electronically in CM/ECF, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana has announced. Electronic filing will become mandatory as of Feb. 24.

The clerk’s office will continue to accept new civil cases filed on paper, if necessary, until Feb. 24. The court encourages attorneys to view On-Line Captivate Training Modules “Electronic Civil Case Opening and Docketing a Complaint or Notice of Removal” prior to e-filing your first new civil case. More information is available on the court’s website.
